L-36's were mainly built in South Africa from 1977 to 1990, but a few more recent ones exist. There are about 40 to 50 sailing and a few still to be launched I suppose. The builders were Golnix, VHV marine, Gericke, Friese, Bop, Robertson Yachts and of course owner built. They are very solid and seaworthy sailing vessels and have cruised the world over.
